Steve and Belinda purchased 5 acres of land at Margate, near Hobart. It is on the top of a hill with panoramic views over the estuary to the front and the mountains behind. They started digging out the trenches for the electricity, laying a gravel driveway and general clearing of the land on November 11th 2005.

They started building the shed, which was to serve as temporary accommodation whilst the main house was being built. However, with the imminent birth of Amelia, they decided to upgrade the quality of the shed and postpone the building of the main house. The shed was extended in December 2006 and is really a comfortable 3 bedroomed bungalow.
